Ah yes, Charley is headed this way...so much fun. Schools are closed, most places are closed...but my fucked up company is "thinking" of closing! I had to get three other people to change their schedules just so I could take off as the kids will be home. Who the fuck do they really think is going to come in tomorrow? I swear I hate that place somedays (okay everyday). I really need a new job!

Received a email form letter informing me I didn't meet the Mouse's qualifications for a part time job I was looking into. Damn! Okay so that might have been a problem in the first place, but really was looking forward to at least an interview.

Seems our TripleS scores for last month didn't make the bossman happy. Personally I'm laughing my ass off over them! In customer service and cleanliness we got a score of 43 each.

Okay the cleanliness we know about, our bathrooms are toxic. There are only 2-3 people working the front end most times so who the hell has time to clean the bathrooms? Most days we don't even have time to use them. Their supposed to be employee only in the first damn place but we have to let the customers use them. I usually tell them they're being cleaned or broke (nasty fucking people, why would I let you use my just cleaned bathrooms?). If anyone wants to know--women are fucking pigs with public restrooms!

Customer service score is a joke. We all know the reason for this one also--Irene. They hired her last month as a necessary evil (read we were fucking desperate!). They need to fire her before we lose all of the customers we've had since day one. Several will leave as is right now if she's there. To describe her is easy, imagine someone sucking on a lemon. That look upon their face? That's her. Trust me I've tried talking to her as I'm leaving to give her a heads up on what has happened during the day and let her know anything she needs to know for the night. In one ear and out the other.

Oh well--I'm just a cashier. I love saying that at times like this, I'm not responsible for shit! So I can laugh my ass off knowing they can't do a thing to me. My job is secure (for now), my customer's love me and have told them and me so.

Kids go back to school tomorrow! I'm so happy and totally confused.

We met their teachers last night and it turns out that even though they retained Josh in the 6th grade he's still in the gifted classes. Okay, at least this year he should do the work as it's the same shit he didn't do last year.

Michael on the other hand is taking Honors Algebra and has three computer skills classes. Two of them sound fun (okay that comes from a science geek) as they will be working on graphics and robotics during the year.

And just how is a mother to feel when her nearly 14yr old gets checked out by college girls? Now I know he didn't notice her (really not sure how to feel about that!) noticing him as he was deciding what to order at Taco Bell, but still. He is a big boy (5'8" already), my store mananger's been asking for a year when he'll be old enough to work, but still--I'm not ready! The boy should be in high school this year, again I am so not ready to be that old. Yes it's my own vanity speaking, turning 34 last month did not bother me it's my kids getting older that does it.
